“We can still play better” - Bakiewicz

Manama, Bahrain, July 23, 2019 – Poland cruised past Tunisia in straight sets (25-21, 25-16, 25-20) in Pool H of the FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship.

Poland coach Michal Bakiewicz: “I am happy with the win but I think we can still play better. We had many mistakes especially in first set. We have to continue to work, communicate, and for sure play better. But most important thing today is that we won. We want to win every game. Every game for us is the most important game.”

Poland player Remigiusz Kapica: “It was a little bit bad match for us. We played very unstable and I think we had too many mistakes in serve and attack, and a couple in reception. It may have been okay today but in our next match with Cuba we must play better and we must minimise our mistakes.”

Tunisia coach Amine Basdouri
: “We had a very good game. Poland are a very good team. We progressed today with our effort and we worked hard for our result. This game was better than others.

“We are now playing for the morale of our team. Tomorrow we face Morocco. Tunisia are champions of Africa and we must win against them. It is very important match and good luck to both teams.”
