For the third time in the history of the competition, Bahrain will host the FIVB Volleyball Men’s U21 World Championship from July 18 to 27, 2019
The FIVB Age Group World Championships are biennial events, with a total of four age group championships set to be held in 2019.
The first Men’s U21 World Championship was held in 1977 with the 20th edition of the tournament taking place in Manama, Bahrain. A total of 16 teams will participate.
In 2017, Poland won for the third time in the history of the tournament. They defeated Cuba in straight sets, while previous champion Russia fought Brazil to reach the third place.
